Tour Plan

Day 1 — Arrival and Lake Manyara National Park

You will be met upon arrival and transferred to begin your safari with a game drive into Lake Manyara National Park, where the landscape transitions from forested slopes to open plains beside the lake. This park is known for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, vast flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore, and prolific birdlife, offering scenery and wildlife encounters right from the first day. As the sun sets across the watershed escarpment, your guide will lead you out of the park and to your lodge, where you will enjoy dinner and reflect on your first day of safari.

Dinner and Overnight: Mid-range lodge near Lake Manyara (All Meals Included)

Day 2 — Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most extraordinary wildlife environments on Earth. The crater’s natural amphitheater supports a dense concentration of diverse species year-round, including black rhino (sighting dependent), lions, elephants, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, and myriad plains and woodland dwellers moving freely within its expansive caldera walls. Enjoy a full day of game driving across varied habitats, with a scenic lunch in the crater before ascending to the rim in the late afternoon and transferring to your camp nestled near the Serengeti.

Dinner and Overnight: Enkirari Wilderness Camp — luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti (All Meals Included)

Day 3 — Full Day in Central Serengeti

Spend the entire day exploring the heart of Serengeti National Park. This region is home to open grassy plains, kopjes (granite outcrops), and riverine corridors that attract large populations of predators and prey alike. From lions lounging on shaded rocks to cheetahs sprinting across open grasslands and elephants foraging among scattered trees, game drives today will focus on reading animal signs and tracking wildlife movements in this iconic landscape. Your guide will tailor the route based on recent sightings and seasonal patterns, maximizing opportunities for close-up encounters and photography before returning to camp as the day wanes.

Dinner and Overnight: Enkirari Wilderness Camp — luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti (All Meals Included)

Day 4 — Serengeti to Arusha

On your final morning, a final early-morning game drive takes you across the Serengeti plains before concluding your safari journey. After breakfast, depart the park and begin the journey back toward Arusha, arriving in time to connect with onward travel arrangements or flights. This day brings one last chance for wildlife viewing and reflection on the rich diversity you have experienced, completing a compact yet unforgettable East African safari adventure.
